Da Nang Arrival – Drive to Hoi An (-/-/D)

Upon arrival at Danang International Airport, greeted by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

My Son – Hoi An Heritage Walking Tour (L)

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning, we invite you an interesting visit to My Son, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Back to Hoi An by mid-day for lunch.

In the afternoon, let’s have a Heritage Walking Tour in Hoi An old town. Tour includes Phuc Kien assembly hall, Japanese recovered bridge and one of the most famous old houses in town, Tan Ky house. After tour, you will have free time for shopping. Hoi An is one of the best places in Vietnam to shop for souvenirs at bargain prices including silk, handicrafts, antiques and paintings. Or you can visit the numerous art and craft shops and tailors, who can produce made-to-measure clothes for yourselves. At night, have a walk around discovering this small lovely town to see splendid lantern-streets. Overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An Countryside Cycling (L)

Let’s spend a day leisurely cycling though the scenic countryside of Vietnam, far from the traffic the motor scooters, and the noises the city. You will cross the islands on the Song Thu river delta using local transportation, including ferries and floating bridge. This tour will take you to discover how wooden river boats are made, learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw “Hoi An” sleeping mats Try the renowned Vietnamese basket boats . You will spend the day with first-hand contact with one of the rural inhabitant of the region, far from the usual tourist circuits. At lunchtime you will be invited into the home of a local Vietnamese family for a traditional Vietnamese meal, and learn their customs and traditions. After you have relaxed for a while under the shade of a mango tree, you will Begin your return towards Hoi An, which will take about an hour. Tour finish in Heaven & Earth office in town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An – Cham Island Snorkeling Day (L)

8:00 – 8:25: Minivan pick up for customers at the hotel in Hoi An

8:30: Reach the pier & board the boat

8:45: Departure from the pier to reach the Marine Protected Areas of Cham Island.

10:00 – 11.00: Customers enjoy snorkeling under supervision of our guide with full equipment provided

11.00 – 11.45: Surface interval. Water, coffee, tea and snack available on board.

12:00 – 13.00: Make second snorkeling at second spot.

13.15: Boat leaving for Bai Chong tropical beach for lunch and relax

13.30 – 14.00: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood lunch on beach (water is provided during lunch)

Afternoon: Relax time on beach: hammocks free, swimming or extra snorkeling from the beach

15.30: Departure from the beach to return to mainland

16.45 – 17.00: Boat lands in Cua Dai pier: minivan drop customer off at your hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Hoi An – Drive to Hue (L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Farewell to Hoi An then depart for Hue with driver only. We can stop over to Danang on the way for sightseeing My Khe beach, visit Cham Museum, the stone carving village of Non Nuoc. We also visit Marble Mountain, famed for its stonecutters and for being a “Viet Cong” guerilla hideout during the Vietnam War. Some other stops will be made on the way for you to view the scenic places including spectacular Hai Van cloudy pass and Lang Co resort beach…. Arrive Hue in the afternoon. Rest at leisure. Overnight in Hue.

Hue City Tour (L)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today we have a full day tour to explore the historical city of Hue. You will be transferred to Van Lau quay and boarding to Hue’s typical boat – Dragon Boat and start cruising along romantic Huong river. Our first and must stop is Thien Mu Pagoda, the one which built in early of 17th century under the Nguyen Lord. It is time for us to understand the Buddhism of Vietnam and some unique of Vietnamese pagoda architecture. We keep boating upstream and offshore to Tu Duc tomb, the most favored King in Nguyen Dynasty. A short walk to different parts of the tomb before we have a short visit to incense making village. Lunch at local restaurant and we set out to Dong Ba smelly market. Enjoy your local foods if you feel to and cyclo will take you into Thuong Tu gate to visit Hue icon – Forbidden city. Free time for sightseeing till transfer back to your hotel to rest after an active day. Overnight in Hue.

Hue – DMZ – Vinh Moc – Khe Xanh – Dong Hoi (L)

Breakast at your hotel. At around 07.00 am , leaving Hue for Dong Hoi. We drive toward Dong Ha city with some stops en route such as: Highway of Horrors in the Blazing Summer of 1972, Ai Tu Airfield, Dong Ha (The headquarter of The US 3rd Marine Division). Continue to The Rockpile “A US Marine look out “. From the site you can have a general view of Razorback, Mutter’s ridge, LZ Russell , Camp Fuller, Carroll reminding you of the two first operations in this tactical area : Prairie & Hastings. Drive along Ho Chi Minh Trail then visit Dakrong Bridge. Next, we keep visiting is Khe Sanh Combat base, a large U.S Marines base attacked by The N.V.A Forces in early 1968 before TET Offensive. Continuing to visit Gio Linh Firebase (Alpha 2) which belonged to The McNamara Wall, then you’ll walk on The Freedom Bridge across The Ben Hai River, the true demarcation line between two Vietnams for 18 years ( from 1954 to 1972 ). Last stop is Vinh Moc Museum and Vinh Moc Tunnels, the refuge of more than 300 North Vietnamese people during different bombing operations for 6 years (1966 to 1972). You will drive past Cua Tung Beach which was called “The Queen of Beaches” by the French. Tour ends at your hotel in Dong Hoi by late afternoon. Overnight in Dong Hoi.

Phong Nha Cave – Paradise Cave (L)

07:45 – 08:00: Our car and tour guide will pick you up at hotel, you will visit Paradise cave – the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha – Ke bang National Park’s core zone, 25km about Phong Nha cave, 75 km about Dong Hoi and 1h20 minutes driving.
12:30: Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha village.
13:30: Exploring Phong Nha cave (50 km about the city, 45 minutes driving). After 25 minutes on boat, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave is famous for its rock formation which has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.
17:00: Back to Dong Hoi. Tour ends.

Dong Hoi Departure 

Breakfast at your hotel. Today is your last day, free at leisure to explore city and do last-minute shopping until check-out time by 12 pm, hotel is happy to keep your luggage. Based on your departure flight, private driver comes to bring you to airport. Tour ends at airport, see you again in Indochina!
