1 | 6pm: You’ll get picked up Pick up you from hotel (can be flexible base on guest request) for city tour. 1st Stop: The Reunification PalaceThe Jeep will takes you to The Reunification Palace, also known as Independence Palace, is listed as a historical monument by witnessing great changes of Ho Chi Minh City’s history (formerly known Saigon) and having in itself the essence of Eastern culture. Throughout the heroic battles, this amazing work of architecture had witnessed almost every high and low of the Vietnamese war. 2nd Stop: Central Post OfficeSaigon Central Post Office was also built in the 1880s based on the design of Gustave Eiffel – a famous French architect. 3rd Stop: Saigon Notre Dame CathedralNotre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon is a cathedral located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Established by French colonists who initially named it CathĂ©drale Notre-Dame de SaĂŻgon, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet). 4th Stop: Saigon Opera HouseThe Saigon Opera House was custom built in 1897 by the French architect Eugene Ferret. It is one of the top venues in Vietnam to listen to opera and classical music. Pass by Dong Khoi StreetDong Khoi is known as a million-dollar street or where land is more expensive than gold. There are houses for sale up to VND 1.5 billion per sqm, setting a new record high in Vietnam. Pass by Nguyen Hue StreetBeing the biggest road of Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Hue Walking Street spans 670 meters from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee edifice to Bach Dang Wharf, respectively, and measures 64 meters in width. What’s different about this compared to any streets in the area is that it is installed with automatically-operated mist-emitting systems and lined with over 200 trees and 122 large tubs of flowering creepers. That creates a greenish landscape for the whole street and eases your mind whenever you come there. 5th Stop: First RestaurantArrive at a local restaurant to enjoy a Banh Xeo. A crispy, crepe-like specialty of the South of Vietnam 6th Stop: Ben Thanh night marketWe’ll take you to explore the local night market where we can stop for shopping if you would like. After that you will visit the streets known for their vibrant night life, a very busy and exciting area of the city. 7th Stop: Rooftop barAnd now we go to Rooftop bar to enjoy panorama view of Saigon for open air drinking 8th Stop: Second RestaurantDinner to be continued, we will take you to explore the seafood street where the locals, Saigon inhabitants like to go at night for a dinner with friends or relatives. In this place, you will be able to taste the real cuisine as a local, Vietnamese. We trust you will have a unique experience. 9th Stop: Riverside AreaJeeptour will take you around Saigon, bit out of the center, stop at riverside to take photo, to chill out the fresh air and enjoy the last drink of the day. 10pm: Back to hotelJeep will take you back to hotel by jeep, finish the tour. |
