DAY 1: HANOI – HA LONG – LAN HA BAY (L, D)

08:00 – 08:30 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Then transfer to Tuan Chau Wharf on the new highway.
Note: If guests do not stay at the hotel in the Old Quarter, our car will pick up at Hanoi Opera House – the final pickup point.

11:30 – 12:00 You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, VELAR OF THE SEAS Cruises. After boarding, Cruise Manager will give a brief about safety regulations and tours. Guests then will be given a room key and time for freshening before lunch.
We encourage you to explore our luxuriously appointed ship and then watch the magical landscape cruise past.

13:15 Lunch will be served at the restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay. After lunchtime, you will have a short break before joining the first activity of the tour.

15:00 Cruise anchors at The Bau area. Guests are free to choose kayaking or immerse themselves in the crystal clear waters. This will be a very particular experience when your feet are around 20m above land.

17:00 It’s time to return to your lavish liner and cruise to your evening accommodation.

17:30 – 18:30 Enjoy the Sunset Party with fruits and snacks at Velar Sky Bar and Happy Hour will offer you a drink at an attractive price. Happy together, watching the Sun falling into the sea will be unforgettable memories for every single traveler on board.

18:00 Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.

19:15 You can spoil yourself with a unique Signature Dinner in our distinctive restaurant.

20:45 – 24:00 It is now time to relax with an exotic cocktail and drink in the evening landscape. Our bar offers a wide range of wine, beer, and liqueurs and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day sailing on the Bay. You can order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid fishing or simply relax on our rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky.

DAY 2: DARK & BRIGHT GROTTO – LAN HA BAY – HANOI (B, Br)

05:30 – 06:00 Greets first light of the day on Sundeck, warming up your body with Tai Chi lesson or enjoy an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you.
06:00 – 06:40 Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
06:45 – 07:40 Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright grotto and islets by local rowing boats
which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
09:30 Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 10:45 – 11:00, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
11:45 – 12:10 Get on the luxury van and get back to Hanoi.

DAY 1: HANOI – LAN HA BAY – DARK & BRIGHT CAVE (L, D)

08:00 –08:30. You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter Streets and transferred to Tuan Chau harbor by shuttle bus (If the transfer is booked with Velar of the Sea Cruise).

11:45. Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:15 – 13:00. Transfer by tender boat to Velar of the seas cruise

13:15. The Cruise Manager and crew member welcome you onboard with guiding information and a safety briefing. Enjoy a fabulous lunch in our restaurant. During lunch time, our cruise starts to sail through the magnificent Lan Ha Bay, a geological extension of Halong Bay which is less visited, less inhabited and therefore has the extra appeal of being a more peaceful place.

Check in your cabin.

14:30 – 16:00. Visit Bright Cave by bamboo boat rowed by the local fishermen, a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and high stone cliffs.

16:30 –17:00. Enjoy swimming in the private emerald water.

17:00. We return to Velar of the Seas Cruise and join some interesting activities such as cooking demonstrations, sunset parties and relax on the sundeck to catch the daily spectacular of a gorgeous panorama.
Don’t miss the Happy Hour at our bar as well.
After that, the captain will let the cruise stop at a quiet area of the bay.

19:00. A special dinner of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served.

20:45. In the late evening, take your leisure time to chat at the bar, playing games, squid fishing, singing karaoke …

Overnight onboard

DAY 2: VIET HAI VILLAGE – KAYAK IN LAN HA BAY (B, L, D)

06:00. Be an early riser and attend healthy Tai Chi practice on the sundeck. Sunrise photography is awesome.

07:00. Enjoy breakfast in the restaurant.

07:50. You will join a day cruise and transfer to Viet Hai, a small village in the midst of jungles, covered by high mountains. The village is situated in the heart of Cat Ba National Park, which belongs to Cat Hai district of Hai Phong city.

10:30. Upon arrival, take a bike ride ( or electric car) along the small path through the rain forests. Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way, stop at the village to relax, and visit an ancient local house which is made from straw, mud,bamboo,… Arrive at Viet Hai, visit some local houses to learn about the culture, customs and daily life of the local people.

12:00. Back to the day cruise for a visit to Lan Ha Bay. Lunch will be served on board.

13:30. The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area- Ba Trai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature amazing white sand, very quiet and fewer tourists, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activity.

15:15 – 15:30. Get on the day cruise for a transfer back and back to Velar of the Seas Cruise.

16:30. We return to Velar of the Seas Cruise and join some interesting activities such as cooking demonstration, sunset party and relax on the sundeck to catch the daily spectacular of a gorgeous panorama.

07:20 – 08:20. Explore Lan Ha bay by doing kayaking around Tra Bau Floating Village.

09:00 –09:30. It’s time to pack your things, do the check-out procedure. Make sure not to forget your belongings.

10:00. Enjoy brunch on the cruise.

10:45. Travel on a tender boat back to Tuan Chau Harbor. Make your farewell to the crew.

11:45 – 12:00. Get into the shuttle bus for a return to Hanoi.

15:00 – 15.30. Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter ( If the transfer is booked with Velar of the Seas cruise). End of services.
