Ben Tre – Vung Liem (L,D)

Upon arrival, you will board your Mango Cruises boat at Mango Home Pier in Bến Tre and

head to An Hoa River. Enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while crew members board your luggage. The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take the cycling trip through the Village to explore more of the local daily life.

Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the coconut spiritts factory which supplies to most local markets in the area.

Continue to take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

Row through these canals until you head back to the big river where your sampan is waiting for you and lunch will be served on board.

After lunch, your boat will bring you to My Long village where you will meet with a local family, Mr Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and observe the process of how it is made

Get back on the boat and continuing to cruise to Con Oc, the island which is famous with coconut products. Take the bicycle to Ms Dung house, her family has been well-known of making handicrafts from coconut shell. Have a chat with the locals and get back to your boat to enjoy the sunset in the late afternoon. Our staff will then prepare your cooking demonstration and dinner on board.

The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure. Overnight at Vam Nuoc Trong canals.

Vam Nuoc Trong – Mo Cay (B)

In the morning, breakfast will be served on board before starting to explore Tan Thanh village by bikes.

Stop to visit the coconut fiber processing at the local village where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut.

Continue on to visit Mỏ Cày local Wet Market before getting back to the cruise, refresh and prepare to checkout for your onward trip or return to Saigon. You will be dropped off at Mỏ Cày Bridge. Check out time is at 10:00 AM. After that, it is time to say your final good-byes to your guide and crew.

Ben Tre – Mo Cay – Vung Liem (L/D)

Arrived at Mango Home Riverside, you will board your Mango cruise boat at Mango Home pier and head to An Hoa River. Enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while crew members board your luggage. The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the coconut spirit factory before starting your bike or rickshaw trip around the village. Relax and enjoy lunch at Mango Restaurant before getting back on the boat and continuing to cruise to Mo Cay canals. Stop for a visit at the coconut processing workshop where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut.

Continue cruising to Vung Liem province and stop for a visit at the brick making factory. Here you will see how bricks are made using traditional methods, which are centuries old.

Return to your boat and freshen up for your cooking demonstration and dinner on board. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure.

Overnight will be spent onboard on the Co Chien River

Vung Liem (B)

In the morning, breakfast will be served on board before starting to explore Tan Thanh village by bikes.

 Ben Tre – Vung Liem (L/D)

Upon arrival, you will board your Private Sampan at Mango Pier and head to An Hoa canals.  Upon boarding your private sampan, your luggage will be brought to your cabin, while you enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail on the deck while meeting your crewmembers and enjoying the scenery and fresh air from the water.

The cruise will take you to Huu Dinh village in Ben Tre where you will enjoy a bicycle trip with your guide (approx. 4 km’s). Return to your sampan and cruise to a small quiet canal. Board a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Then return to your sampan to enjoy the lunch before continuing to cruise to Vung Liem town.

On the way, stop for a bike trip to explore more of the local daily life and the beauty of the area – this place offers a great opportunity for you to interact with the friendly locals.

Get back to your boat, relax, and enjoy your cruise then prepare for your cooking class dinner demonstration.

Vung Liem – Cai Be (B/L/D)

Breakfast will be served onboard and cruising towards Cai Be. Enjoy a bike ride and take in the local scenery.

Then return to your sampan to enjoy the lunch before continuing to cruise to Cai Be town

In the afternoon, have a stop at a truly local market and see the wide selection of fruits, flowers, and vegetables.

Get back to your boat, relax, and enjoy your cruise then prepare for your dinner. Overnight on board

Cai Be – Sa Dec (B/L)

Breakfast will be served onboard and cruising towards the town of Sa Dec and you will start to explore this charming town, which is the backdrop for the film ‘The Lover’, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras. The story is about a teenage French girl who falls in love with a wealthy Chinese man, Huynh Thuy Le.

Enjoy views of the town and then take a bicycle trip to the famous flower village of Tan Qui Dong.  For hundreds of years this village has provided Saigon with its daily flower supply.

After that, it is time to say your final good-byes to your guide and crew. Trip ends!

Sa Dec – Vung Liem (L/D)

Upon arrival, you will board your Mango Cruises’ Sampan at Sadec after exploring this charming town, which is the backdrop for the film ‘The Lover’, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras.

 The story is about a teenage French girl who falls in love with a wealthy Chinese man, Huynh Thuy Le, their romance ended when his father arranged marriage for him with another Chinese girl and Marguerite Duras left Vietnam to go back to France with her broken heart. She later became a famous writer, and her own true story soon became well known.

The program will begin with a cycling trip to the local flower village. Take in the numerous farms which produce flowers year-round. Return to the cruise and head to Cai Be while you enjoying a refreshing welcome cocktail on the deck while meeting your crew members and enjoying the scenery and fresh air from the water.

Enjoy a set menu lunch onboard and cruise will then head towards Vung Liem and you can stop for a cycling trip through a local market.

In the evening, relax and enjoy your cruise then prepare for your cooking demonstration while enjoying your dinner.

Vung Liem – Ben Tre (B/L/D)

Breakfast will be served onboard while you are enjoying the sunrise and you will start to you to cruise to Ben Tre, the coconut kingdom! Make a stop enroute where you will get off the boat and take the a bicycle trip through the village. Continue cycling through the village to explore the peaceful and untouched area. Return to your boat and begin cruising to Ben Tre.

The cruise will make various stops during the day allowing you time to see the local countryside.

Vung Liem – Ben Tre (B)

Enjoy breakfast onboard. The sampan will take you to visit one of our friends, Mrs. Huong, who lives with her 3 children and grandson – they live on fishing, shrimp and fruit orchards. Enjoy a rowing boat trip and stop for fresh fruits and tea before reconnecting to your cruise.

After that, it is time to say your final good-byes to your guide and crew. Here, a private driver will bring you back to Saigon. Trip ends!
