This morning, by 8.00 am, make your day by a tour around Saigon City to most highlighted sites. Let’s come first to Reunification Palace – former residence of Vietnam President in the past and War Remnants Museum, contains exhibits relating to the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists. We will then pay a visit to Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral – the city’s major landmark. Our last stop this morning is Saigon Post Office – the biggest post office in Vietnam, still remains it unique fantastic architecture and Ben Thanh market. After the visit, back to town center and enjoy your cold beer at World of Heineken on Bitexco Tower to have a panoramic view over the city.

Then transfer to Vespa to visit another part of Saigon.

Enjoy lunch with Vietnamese food like: Beef/chicken Noodle, Pancake, Spring roll, Seafood Hotpot.

Sai Gon – Can Tho – cruise boarding – Vinh Long (L/D)

In the morning we pick you up at your hotel in Saigon and take you to Can Tho. You board your wooden river cruise vessel around noon. After a refreshing welcome drink we show you our on-board facilities and your cosy cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong people.

In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through a village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits.

Get back on board and enjoy a drink at the bar or relax on deck as the sun sets over the magnificent water landscape of the Mekong river. The cruise boat will anchor for the night. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner. You stay overnight on board your floating hotel in the Mekong Delta.

 Vinh Long – Cai Be – Tan Phong – Can Tho (B/L/D)

 Can Tho – Chau Doc (B/L)

06.30 Morning cruise and morning tea break served on board
08.00 Check-out of cabin, Excursion on a long sampan to Cai Rang floating market and noodle producing family
11.30 End cruise trip, driver and tourguide pick-up and transfer to Chau Doc.

Arrive at Chau Doc by late afternoon.

Leisure for rest day

Chau Doc – Tra Su Cajunput Forest – Saigon (L)

After breakfast, visit Sam Mountain, the Cave pagoda and Tra Su Cajunput Forest, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Lunch and back to Saigon.
