Cooking Class with Market Tour Vietnam is one of the countries that have a long history of food culture. The country boasts one of the most diverse, delicious and healthy gastronomies in the world.

At Orchid, we believe that attending a cooking class is always one of the most interesting and informative ways to truly experience and understand Vietnamese cuisine and culture. In making your own dishes you can understand the traditions and meanings behind what makes our cuisine so great. Whether you are a novice in the kitchen or a professional everyone is welcome to join our cooking classes, where we value and have a passion for Vietnamese food.

Tour summary

Half-day trip with 02 schedules:

Morning Tour: 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Afternoon Class: 02:30 pm – 06:30 pm



Group Tour: Morning (8:30 am – 12:30 pm) / Afternoon Class (14:30 – 18:30)

8:30 am / 14:30 pm:  Our Chef will pick you up at your hotel by taxi or motorbike to the class.

 9:00 am / 14:00 pm: Chef takes a brief about the tour.

9:10 am / 15:10 pm: Take cyclo tour to the local market.

9:30 am / 15:30 pm: Local market tour & street food tasting. Exploring Vietnamese customs and culture in busy local market life. Besides, some of the local seasonings and food materials would be explained by our chef during the tour.

10:30 am / 16:30 pm: Cooking Class starts. The chef will teach you from preparing to cooking Vietnamese dishes with detailed instruction & recipes

12:30pm / 18:30pm: Time to enjoy your own food.

Lunch / Dinner time.

  • Nem Hà Nội  (Hanoi Spring Rolls) (this dish can make vegetarian)
  • Bún Chả (Chargrilled Pork with fresh vermicelli & vegetable
  • Phở Bò (Hanoi traditional beef soup with rice noodle )
  • Nộm Hoa chuối gà xé (Banana Flower Salad with Chicken) (this dish can make vegetarian).
