2 days: Ben Tre– An Hoa- Cai Be – Sa Dec

Ben Tre- An Hoa – Vinh Long (L,D)

Upon arrival, you will board your Mango cruise boat at Mango Pier(You will be transferred from Hung Vuong Pier to Mango Pier if you cruise with the Lily May) and head to An Hoa canals.  Upon boarding your private sampan, your luggage will be brought to your cabin, while you enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail on the deck while meeting your crew members and enjoying the scenery and fresh air from the water

The cruise will take you to PhongNam village in Giong Trom, where you will take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the rice noodle factory before starting your bike trip around the village. Then return to your boat to enjoy the lunch before continuing to cruise to Sa Dec town.On the way we will stop for a visit at the floating fish farm and experience the local river culture.

Heading to Long Trung Village and stop for a bike ride to explore more of the local daily life and the beauty of Tra Tan canals, this place offers the great opportunity for you to interact with the friendly locals.

Get back to your boat, relax and enjoy your cruise then prepare for your cooking demonstration while enjoying your dinner. Overnight on board on the Upper river.

Vinh Long-Sadec (B)

Breakfast will be served onboard and cruising towards the town of Sa Dec and you will start to explore this charming town, where it is the backdrop for the film ‘The Lover’, based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Marguerite Duras.The story is about a teenage French girl who falls in love with a wealthy Chinese man, Huynh Thuy Le.

You will visit his old family home as well as the high school where Marguerite’s mother was a teacher.
Then, you will continue with cycling through the village of Tan Qui Dong. For hundreds of years this village has provided Saigon with its daily flower supply.

After that, meeting your driver on land for your return to Saigon or your onwards trip.

2 days: Ben Tre– An Hoa- Cai Be- Floating market

Thoi Loc- Cai Be floating market  (B)

Breakfast will be served onboard while cruising towards the town of Cai Be. Upon arrival you willbe transferred to a smaller boat to explore the lively floating Market and its bustling township.

Enjoy the houses on stilts along the River bank and local businesses

Get back to your boat and prepare for to check out. Time to say good bye to the cruise staff and you will be meeting your driver on land for your return to Saigon or your onwards trip.

3 days: My Tho – Mo Cay – Vung Liem – Tra On – Can Tho

My Tho – Mo Cay – Vung Liem (L,D)

Upon arrival, you will board your Mango cruise boat at Chuong Duong Pier My Tho and head to An Hoa River. Enjoy your welcome drink and peaceful scenery while crew members board your luggage.  The cruise will take you to Phong Nam village in Giong Trom, where you will take the cycling trip through the Village to explore more of the local daily life.

Stop at a local house to taste the tropical fruits and chat with the farmer. Visit the rice noodle factory which supply to most local markets in the area.
Continue to take a rowing sampan boat through the small canals, which are covered green by the water coconut plants.

As you reach the big river, your sampan is waiting for you and lunch will be served on board.

After lunch, your boat will bring you to My Long village where you will meet with a local family, Mr Sau Tuong, a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village. Have a chat with him and enjoy the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and observe the process of how it is made

Return to the boat and continue to cruise to Mo Cay canals. Stop for a visit at the coconut processing workshop where you can see how the locals utilize every bit of the coconut. Continue cruising to Vung Liem Canal where your sampan will dock for an overnight.

Relax and freshen up for your cooking demonstration and dinner on board. The rest of the evening will be spent at your leisure.

Vung Liem –  Tra On – Can Tho (B,L,D)

In the morning, breakfast will be served on board and you will start to visit the brick factory where you will see how bricks are made in the traditional method and mostly by hand. Continue to take the bike ride through green paddies, garden settings and local villages to explore the untouched beauty of this region.
Head to the town of Vung Liem , continue on to visit the Cao Dai Temple in one of the most popular local religions, which is a combination of Taoism, Buddhism and Confusism.
The boat will then cruise to Tra On on the Mang Thit river, on the way you will stop at Cai Nhum village where you will have a walk or bike ride through local villages and this will offer a good chance to observe the local culture and interact with the local people.
Get back to your boat and continue cruising to Can tho.

While on board, freshen up, and then head to the deck to observe the sun set, your private bar is always open and your dinner will be served afterwards. Enjoy fresh air while cruising on the tranquil water. The rest of the evening is spent at your leisure.

Can Tho – Cai Rang – Ninh Kieu Quay (B,L)

Get up early in the morning and your breakfast will be ready out the Deck. Freshen up for the early boat trip to the spectacular Cai Rang floating market, where you will transfer to a smaller boat and mingle amongst the thousands of trading vessels. Feel free to buy yourself fruits or drinks from the local boats.

After your market visit, return to your Mango Cruise, and soak in your surroundings, time to check out and you will be dropped off at Ninh Kieu quay in Can Tho, and preparing for your onward trip.

3 days: Ben Tre - An Hoa - Sadec- Long Xuyen- Chau Doc

Ben Tre – An Hoa – Sa Dec (L,D)

Depart from Ben Tre along the Ham Luong River to Sadec via An hoa Canal.  Upon boarding your private sampan, your luggage will be brought to your cabin, while you enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail on the deck while meeting your crew members and enjoying the scenery and fresh air from the water.

The cruise will take you to Phong Nam Village where you will start a Bicycle trip through gardens and rice paddies. Stop at a rice noodles factory “hu tieu” is one of most popular breakfast dishes in the region .Take a short walk to visit at Mrs. Huong’s home. Her family lives on fishing, shrimp and farming . Enjoy the tropical fruits and honey tea in her garden before taking the rowing sampan, be paddled by a personalized rower to discover the maze of small canals.

Then row back to your cruise and lunch will be served on board while heading to Sadec via My Tho.

On the way we will stop for a visit at the floating fish farm and experience the local river culture.

Getting back on the boat and cruise towards the town of Sa Dec where your boat will anchor for overnight.
Get ready to watch the sunset on the deck and your private bar is always opened at your leisure.

You will follow with a cooking demonstration on board before your dinner and enjoy the rest of your evening at your leisure.

Sa Dec – Long Xuyen (B,L,D)

Breakfast will be served onboard and you will begin the morning with cycling through the village of An Phu Dong.  For hundreds of years this village has provided Saigon with its daily flower supply.

Return to your boat, freshen up, and relax. Start cruising to Long Xuyen and on the way we will stop to explore more of the local villages by bike or walk and this will be a great chance for interacting with the friendly locals.
Get back to your boat and Lunch will be served onboard.

As you continue cruising, you will start to notice more houses on stilts and an increase of flooded fields. This area is prone to severe flooding and as a result, is one of the Delta’s poorest regions.
Arrive in Long Xuyen, you can stop for a good picture of the Long Xuyen floating market during the sunset. Freshen up and prepare for your dinner on board. Your cruise will anchor near Chau Doc.

Day 3: Long Xuyen – Chau Doc (B)

Start the morning with breakfast on board while cruising to Chau Doc. On the way we will stop to visit the local villages on the way.

On arrival, switch to the small boat to visit the Cham Islamic village in Chau Giang, one of the biggest Muslim towns in Vietnam where the locals speak both Vietnamese and Cham languages. They read the Quran in Arabic and, of course, all the men in the village wish to travel to Mecca once in their lifetime. You will visit the Mubarak Mosque, which is one of the mosques in the Chau Doc area.

The cruise will then make its way to the pier in Chau Doc town, where you will be dropped off.  At this point you can either return to Saigon via private car, or continue on to Phnom Penh by boat.
